Southbound Craft Fair 2022 | Winston Salem, NC

Calling it a wrap on all 2022 art events!

The Southbound Craft Fair, with its incredible lineup of art vendors, its twinkling lights, and its festive holiday energy, was the perfect way to wrap up this year’s art events.

Although this was my last event of the year, it was my first event that took place entirely from evening to night. Because we were setup at the Cobblestone Farmer’s Market right outside of historic Old Salem, we didn’t have electricity to rely on, so all of the artists and makers had to get creative with solar and battery-powered lights.

These little lanterns and sweet twinkling lights gave the tent such a charming, warm, and cozy feel that I almost prefer it to electric lights. I loved seeing how each vendor lit up their tent, giving the entire area a festive Christmas air.

Thank you to everyone who came out to shop holiday art gifts with us and share in the magic of the evening. On one hand, I’m looking forward to taking some time off from the hustle and bustle and rest up for the new year, but on the other hand, I already miss bonding with you all in person over our shared love of art.

I cannot wait to see you all again in 2023! I’ll be sure to let you know when I have my new 2023 art event lineup on the site.
